Hello! I just wanted to share our agency/ministry newsletter with
you and to say thanks. I use your articles and teachings to affirm
our team of Christian professionals. We are working in such a
periphery of spiritual warfare of great intensity for the souls of
the children referred to us. We are so very excited to see what the
Lord is doing in making us a stronger team for Him and in linking us
up to other ministries.
May God give you the peace of His great Shalom in 2008 and favor in
reaching the kingdom for Him. We really appreciate all you do.
In
His hope abiding,
Carla
I'm not sure I have the
words to explain how much these perception teachings
have changed my way of thinking, the way I see
things in a new light. Even many hardships that are
just common to man, not necessarily anyone's fault,
not anyone to blame but just hard none the less,
suddenly have a new hope, a new avenue out just by
not considering old perception and being able to go
directly to the new perception based on faith.
What's funny is it wasn't even that difficult to
make the change once catching the understanding of
this new concept. My purpose for coming to church is
to worship and to be changed. To exchange weekly
baggage for a renewed, even greater measure of
wisdom, understanding and peace. I really wish I had
th words to translate how valuable this has been to
me, but every attempt is not enough. So thank you
for sharing your life with us Alan Smith, you've
taught us well and you are very much valued and
appreciated.
Much love in the Lord,
Kathi
Hello Dear Friends,
"Praise the Lord For
He I Greatly To Be Praised"
Thank you for your
continued prayers for my full recovery and for the
family during this time.
On the physical level I
am gaining strength daily. Not only did my request
for an exercise back come to fruition it gleaned
forth a treadmill and a step machine. Now our
basement looks like a mini gym. I need prayer now
that I will have the discipline to use them all
sufficiently. Ginger and the children are all well
and the children are doing good at school. I have
gained sufficient movement back in my hand that I
was able to do two photography jobs last week and I
have found new premises for my studio. Thanks to
friends at church I am getting help to get it ready
for opening in a few weeks.
We are all doing well
and experiencing great spiritual growth at this
time.
Mountain top experiences
are nice times of refreshing but it's through the
Valleys that God shapes us for His purposes.
We, as I have said
before, focus on the circumstances and not on the
question, 'What are You trying to teach me
through this circumstance?' If we ask Him this
question He will show us and then with the help and
power of the Holy Spirit He will guide us through
it.
James tells us in the
'New Testament' to count it all joy when our faith
is tested, as it brings forth patience, and we are
to ask God for wisdom and we will surely receive it.
In our Church over the
last number of weeks we have been receiving great
teaching from Alan Smith one of our spiritual leaders
on 'Perceptions' : That is, our
recognition and interpretation based chiefly on memory.
To put that bluntly, that
means it is our tendency to view every circumstance
through the memory of passed experiences and like the
children of Israel to keep going around and around the
same old mountain.
Next time do the opposite
of what you have previously done. Stop that old memory
from kicking in, count it all joy that God loves you
enough to try to get your attention, then ask Him to
show you what it is He is trying to teach you, put
your faith and
trust in Him and His word,
make the necessary changes needed and you will find
your perceptions have changed into Godly perceptions
and a fresh and
new memory has been established. that
will lead you into a new reality.
Paul says in
Hebrews 12:1
'Therefore since we also are surrounded with so great
a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight
(memory) and the sin
(fear & doubt) which so easily
besets us, and let us run with patience
the race that is set before us' . The inserts are
mine for the purpose of this message,
So now, instead of the
weight of our past
memories, replace them with
Gods word . And instead of being beset by
fear and doubt, lets replace
those terrible twins from hell with faith
and trust in God
and His word.
Now what have we got? The
Patience to run the race that
God has set before us and the power
to fulfill God's plan for our lives.
Father, forgive us for living
in the perceptions of past memories. Renew our minds from
the treasures of your word that are stored in our hearts
and give us a hunger to keep filling our hearts with
treasure. AMEN!
Be blessed, and may the peace
of God which passes all understanding be you daily
portion.
"Dear Precious Servant of God,
I
sincerely bless the Name of the Lord God, the Father of our
Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ for your Ministry! I must say
thank you for these wonderful inspirational teachings !
At times like this, by the time I read this text about
Matt.14:22-36, I have been faced with the most challenging
step of my life so far. Called at 16 and now 23(for
Revival), the Lord has been speaking to me to set off for
serious ministry, establish Him a base (Heaven Centre
Church) and begin the Revival Crusades beginning with this
Base. However, due to my age, financial problems and lots of
discouraging voices (winds), I have given excuses to the
master for over 2 years! I have the confidence now from this
teaching that regardless of the challenges (winds) around
me, as long as the Lord Jesus Christ is with me then I am
now more than ready to move out and meet the Lord's Calling.
Thank you very much! Wherever the Lord takes me, I will
remember that you were one of the voices the Lord used to
open up my spiritual guts to have faith and step out into
the water of an established ministry amidst very many winds
of today!
May the Peace, Mercy and Love of our Precious Lord and
Savior be with you, and may the Lord continue to bless your
Ministry abundantly!"
